TRUSTEES
DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for all property and financial affairs of the church

  • Shall have no power to buy, sell, mortgage, lease, or transfer real property of the church without prior approval through vote of the congregation

  • Prepare an annual operating budget based, as far as possible, on the stated needs of each board and committee and present it to the executive council for information and discussion then to the congregational for approval appoint a Buildings and Grounds Committee and a Mission Commitee

BUILDING AND GROUNDS COMMITTEE
  • Be responsible for inspecting the properties of the church, parsonage, and also preparing a program of maintenance

  • Recommend purchase of new equipment and prepare an annual maintenance and repair budget for submission to the trustees prior to the preparation of the general church budget

  • Responsible for janitorial services

MISSIONS COMMITTEE
  • Shall secure the financial support of the members of the congregation in world and local missions through a continuing education and promotional program

  • Prepare a proposed annual operating budget to be forwarded to the Board of Trustees
